This image is a bit different. First, I've shot from this location about 10 years ago. It's a tiny little ledge with a great view of Turret Arch through the North Window at Arches National Park.
The location is not very easy to get to. When carrying photo equipment, climbing across the various boulders makes the trip a bit difficult. I guess if I've done the trip a few more times than once every four or five years, I'd probably be a lot more comfortable with getting up on the little ledge.
Fortunate for me, a fog just started to roll in as soon as the sun began to illuminate the scene. You can see the sun's pastel color just hitting the horizon through the North Window as we're waiting for Turret Arch to get bathed in sunlight.
If you look to the left, you'll just barely make out the South Window.
Cheers
Tom
