OSHA TRAIL RUN - 9 JULY 2014

I like running around the OSHA trail up near Cloudcroft, NM. It's up there at almost 9,000 ft elevation making it quite the effort for me. On this run you'll see me not so much running as walking between running sections. The camera is too unsteady to film while running.

But, since I was walking I did give a few thoughts about a recent story I read about encroachment near Grand Canyon NP. Seems there's a move afoot to make communities on the rim and greater access for "everyone" down to the river via a tram. The article read was titled "The End of the Grand Canyon." That's a lot of hyperbole. Still I give a few thoughts.

BTW, I talk about Wabi Sabi towards the end. According to Wikipedia the definition is; "the view or aesthetic centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection." Hopefully, it makes sense when you hear the end of the run.
