AWESOME FATBIKE RIDE - 13 October 2014

This was an awesome ride after work just prior to leaving for a week of TDY and a week of leave. Since I wasn't likely riding my bike on Edwards out in the desert before the time change, this ride would likely be my last until next year. Great because it really was most excellent.

I ran one of my normal laps. The difference was there wasn't much wind from the west--which didn't keep me from going forward westward or push me eastward. The temps were cool in the mid-70's. That's really cold when you consider the several 100 deg day rides I did during the summer.

Altogether, I set a new personal best for that route--by like minutes--and felt great at the end. No, I did not hit a maximum heart rate record as I have on that particular route before.

If you couldn't tell I was really pleased with how things went. A great way to end the year.
